The Bay County Sheriff recognized Elisabeth and Aiden Kunz for turning in more than $1000 they found while exercising during their gym class back in January of this year.
The two found a chip bag containing more than $1000 and immediately told their mother.
The parents contacted the Bay County Sheriff’s Department.
It was later found out the money had come from a bank robbery that occurred on January 22 in Bangor Twp.
The Bay County Sheriff awarded the two with a certificate of recognition, a gift certificate from JoJo’s Refresh Stop, and each a new bicycle and Walmart gift card to purchase bicycle safety equipment donated by WalMart.
