He’s a high school senior, but is already working for a major animation studio! Beaverton 12th grader Samuel Shin joined us to talk about how he began his career as an animator at age 8 using his Legos to create stop-motion vignettes. Samuel is now employed by one of the top animation studios in the country, Black Plasma Studios. He submitted his portfolio when he was only 14! This summer, he plans to create a short film and his ultimate goal is to work for a major studio–Laika or Pixar!
